Far there seated on the hillside overlooking the lakefront is the Bharat Bhavan. One can get a glimpse of colorful domes of Bharat Bhavan as one proceeds through VIP road. As the entrance is approached one can feel the essence of exposed brickwork and the grass pavers. As soon you enter you can have a view of the whole site designed on the natural contours by an amalgamation of built and unbuilt. There is a restaurant on the right-hand side which serves some amazing food.

You enter at the highest point and the entrance automatically directs you through the terraced gardens descending downwards to the lake or through the courtyards and galleries along with them. There is no certainty in the pattern of movement each part of Bharat Bhavan is unique and is interconnected through different paths. As one moves through, they will come across some beautiful sculptures and galleries depicting the art. Bharat Bhawan is a hub of fine arts, literature, theatre and performing arts.

As one reaches the rear side of Bharat Bhawan one can experience the amazing view of lakes reflecting water with a backdrop of the cityscape of Bhopal. The landscape of Bharat Bhawan terminates at an amphitheater where sometimes you can experience some amazing plays and music performance going on. This is a point where you can experience breathtaking sunsets where your eyes can rest mind can meditate.
